The HL PROFESSIONAL PEELS formulated for professional treatments based on high concentrations of AHA’s, BHA, Retinol natural extracts to provide specific results in the approach for correcting ageing, acne, hyper-pigmentation, rosacea problems of the skin. The uniqueness of the in-salon use HL PROFESSIONAL PEELS series lies in the precision of the strength and suitability of the natural active ingredients as effective as 24% -34% blend approximate pH 3.3 – 3.9, which significantly accelerate the skin’s natural renewal process.

STRENGTH – the blend’s concentration and ratio between the different natural acids is represented with Roman numerals, from the lowest (I) to the highest (V)

SUITABILITY – the core blends are further complemented with extracts chosen according to the treatment and skin condition.

The unique formula of blend AHAs, BHA, retinol and other fruit extracts helps to exfoliate, increase cell renewal and promote the generation of healthy new skin cells, improve the skin’s natural rehabilitation and healing processes. We use blend of natural fruit alpha hydroxy acids (AHA). AHAs penetrate into the epidermis breaking the cellular bonds enabling and facilitating a natural, quicker and more effective exfoliation. Removal of dead skin cells present on the top of the epidermis and this will have the effect of renewing and improvement the overall complexion.

Beta hydroxy acid (BHA) is lipid soluble and can penetrate the protective lipid layer into deeper layers of the epidermis and act there. Its ability to clean the pores, improve the proliferation of new skin cells increasing the skins thickness make it effective and often used in acne treatments.

Retinol (a derivative of vitamin A) regulates expression of genes through binding to nuclear transcription factors Increases activity of cells. The retinol constricts the sebaceous glands, thus decreasing the sebum production and its rate of secretion, helps minimise the look of large pores, while helping to clear congested pores. Retinol boost the development of two structural components of the skin namely glycosaminoglycen and procollagen, designed to increase elastin and collagen production and thicken the derma layer, which helps reducing the depth and visibility of scars and blemishes, reduces fine lines and skin discolouration.

This treatment is intended to administer on a monthly basis. The recovery time following this treatment takes five-six days. For the first two days, the skin may be looks dryer. On the third day, the skin could exfoliate and usual moisturiser creams have to be used to help restore the skin. It is important not to pull off or scrub the peeling skin as beneath the old skin there is a healing process going on. By the fifth day the skin had lost the flakiness and had become clearer, the skin tone had become firmer.

HL White Peel as effective as 5% Lactic Acid, approximate pH 5.3- 5.6

Unique peeling based on cream cheese and Lactic Acid. Lactic Acid, present in milk, contributes to cell renewal, skin luminosity and improved complexion. It also increases moisture levels of the skin and maintains its elasticity.
